Bio
Ian Dahlquist is a PhD student in the Rhetoric and Professional Communication program and a Graduate Teaching Assistant. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English at Cal State Northridge, where he later received his Master’s Degree in English. His research interests lie within the intersection of rhetoric and coaching, looking at the role rhetoric plays between coaches and athletes. Prior to coming to Iowa State, Ian previously worked at Ventura College in Ventura, California. There he worked as a college football coach and part-time instructor.
