Bio
Isaac Ewuoso is a Ph.D. student in Rhetoric and Professional Communication, co-majoring in Human-Computer Interaction at Iowa State University and a graduate teaching assistant in the English Department. After graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago with BAs in Political Science and Philosophy, he earned his MA in Writing, Rhetoric, and Discourse (WRD) from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
Prior to ISU, he taught English composition at community colleges in the Chicago suburbs of Illinois and worked as a proposal writer with a corporate educational company. His research interests focus on the intersection of rhetoric and emerging technology, with particular attention to instructional design, multimodal discourse, and multimodal assessment. Most recently, his research has examined generative AI, particularly the development of AI policies and guidelines in higher education.
