Bio
Jannatul Ferdous Anan is a Graduate Teaching Assistant and recipient of the Freda Huncke Teaching Fellowship in the English Department at Iowa State University, where she is pursuing her Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL). She holds a Master’s in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching and a Bachelor’s in English Language and Literature.
Her research interests include Second Language Acquisition, Computer-mediated Communication, Computer-assisted Language Learning, and Language Assessment. She brings prior experience as a university lecturer in Bangladesh, alongside a professional background in medical interpreting, content writing, and rapporteuring. Currently, she is particularly interested in the integration of technology into language teaching and second language learning, with a particular interest in how digital tools can create more effective and inclusive language learning environments.
