Bio
Sharon Ajibade is a PhD student in Rhetoric and Professional Communication at Iowa State University and a Graduate Teaching Assistant. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University and a Master’s degree in African and Diaspora Studies from the University of Lagos, graduating top of her class with distinction. She is a writer, author and editor. Her research explores how women and marginalized people use words, images, and digital platforms to reshape public spaces, challenge societal expectations, and create new ways of being heard. Sharon is passionate about inclusive communication and hopes to help build communication spaces where all voices are valued and heard.
