Bio
Shuhui Yin is a newly appointed Lecturer in the Department of English. She recently completed her Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics & Technology at Iowa State University. Over the past five years, she has taught Foundation Communication courses (ENGL 1500 and 2500), and worked as a member of the ISUComm Online Learning Team.
She has also led pedagogical training and mentorship initiatives for English language educators around the world. Her professional interests focus on generative AI literacy in higher education, particularly the knowledge and skills students need to use AI effectively, critically, and responsibly.
