Nationally and internationally known for their wide-ranging research and exceptional teaching, our award-winning graduate faculty are dedicated to mentoring graduate students in our program’s supportive, welcoming environment. To support the success of our graduate students, our Graduate Studies program offers:
- Over $120,000 of funding in awards, fellowships, grants, and scholarships at the doctoral and master’s levels, and 70% of our graduate students hold graduate teaching and research assistantships which include full or partial tuition waivers and health insurance benefits
- Up to five years of funding for PhD students entering with an MA, three years for MFA students, and two years for MA students
- Professional development and community-building opportunities through the Grad Connections program
- Travel funding for graduate students at all levels
