LAS Faculty Excellence Awards Ceremony

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) recently held the LAS Faculty Excellence Awards Ceremony.  They celebrated the LAS faculty that have received donor-funded awards in 2019, 2020, and 2021.  Due to Covid-19 cancellations, this is the first ceremony held since 2018.  A number of Department of English faculty were recognized for their achievements:

  • Gary Ockey
    Angela B. Pavitt Professorship in English, 2021
  • Matthew Sivils
    Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) Dean’s Professorship, 2019
