Progress to Degree Checklists
The Progress to Degree Checklists are designed to help students navigate their progress to degree by providing a chronological framework that, semester by semester, lists significant milestones, forms, and ideas to consider as students fulfill Program of Study (POS) requirements and begin their professionalization.
- Master’s Programs in English, RCPC, TESL/AL
- MFA Program in Creative Writing & Environment
- PhD Program in Applied Linguistics and Technology
- PhD Program in Rhetoric and Professional Communication
Degree Planning Sheets (DPS)
The DPS helps students plan and document how they will meet program of study requirements, and they will work on this form in consultation with their program adviser/major professor. This departmental form also serves as a useful tool to help students complete the online Graduate College Program of Study and Committee Form (POSC) in their AccessPlus account. If changes were made to program requirements after your entry in the program, you can choose to follow the POS requirements in place when you began the program or you can choose to follow the new POS requirements.
