Ali Garib is a Ph.D. student in the Applied Linguistics and Technology program at ISU. He holds an MA in Linguistics from Arizona State University and an MA in TESOL and Educational Technology from the University of Manchester. Ali is a Fulbright and Chevening alumnus. His primary research interests span the areas of L2 pronunciation teaching and learning and the effect of technology on the development of L2 academic writing. Ali has an experience of over 6 years teaching general and academic English, introductory linguistics, communication skills, phonetics, and research methods at language centers and universities, including Omar Al-Mukhtar University in Libya, the Lebanese American University in Lebanon, and others.
