Febriana Lestari is a Ph.D. student in the Applied Linguistics and Technology program at Iowa State University. She holds a bachelor's degree in English Education from STKIP PGRI Jombang, a master's degree in Applied Linguistics from Yogyakarta State University (Indonesia), and a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) from Cambridge Assessment. Prior to joining the program, Febriana worked as a teacher's manager at EF Adults Indonesia. She has gained more than six years of EFL teaching experience. Febriana's research interests center around Project-based Language Learning, Second Language Acquisition, Second Language Learning, and material development. She is also excited to learn more about corpus linguistics, language processing, and CALL. She currently serves as a graduate assistant, teaching the ISU Comm Foundation Courses program. Back in 2012, Febriana attended IEOP at ISU sponsored by the United States Department of State. Since then, she had always wanted to come back to ISU as a graduate student. In 2021, her dream came true as she was honored to join the ALT program.
