Rania Mohammed is currently a PhD student in the Applied Linguistics and Technology program. She received her MA degree in TESL/Applied Linguistics at Iowa State University in 2013 and her BA in English language at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Prior to coming to ISU, she worked for three years as an EFL instructor teaching General English classes to college-level students in Saudi Arabia. She also taught English for specific purposes for medical students as well as medical terminology courses. Her research interests include prosodic features of formulaic language and material design.
