Congratulations to Professor Charlie Kostelnick for winning the Kitty O. Locker Outstanding Researcher Award at the Association for Business Communication (ABC) conference in October. At the conference, he also presented Pervasive and Perplexing Pies: Our Uneasy Relationship with a Data Display Genre.
Lori Peterson, managing editor for the Journal of Business and Technical Communication, recently won the 2018 Honorary Distinguished Service Award from the Council for Programs in Technical and Scientific Communication (CPTSC) for her significant contributions to the field. The CPTSC brings together faculty, administrators, and researchers of technical, professional, and scientific communication.
